‘Salt of the Earth came into being because I want to create. In whatever form, medium, or style of expression that encompassed, I wanted to harness that energy and gift it to others.
My creations are expressions of the connection between myself and the natural world. I have a wandering soul and of course, that means I gravitate toward adventure and nature in all her beauty.
I fell in love with watercolour because to me it reflects the fluidity and organic nature of life. It splashes, drips, morphs, and bleeds. It is unpredictable and frustrating, yet soft and beautiful.
As I create I draw on these feelings and symbolic relationships and hope to express them through each and every one of my creations.’
